  1. I am delighted you liked my Oxford/Christ Church Meadows photo which you used on your blog. However, I would have preferred it if you had first asked my permission to use it – which I would have gladly granted [at least you have ascribed my authorship]. The thing is, some of my Oxford photos are licenced to Getty Images who are vigorous in their prosecution of copyright breach.
    Hoping you Oxford seminar fared well.

  2. Thanks Michael and sorry that I did not follow the procedure you expected; I notice that you do have a note about this on your Flickrstream. I would not have used if I had spotted this beforehand and will be more vigilant in future. I usually use all my own images as I know that many people do have a range of requirements for sharing.
